Aircraft Military: US Marines

US Marines are an elitist force and comprise the five armed forces of the United States protecting and guarding the sovereignty of the country. Once a marine, always a marine for life. The other four are The Army, The US Navy, The US Air Force and the US Coast Guard. US Marines undergo a grueling 13-week training period and their real test is in the Crucible, in which they accomplish seemingly impossible task with the help of one another. During this time they are transformed from recruits to marines.

The official motto of the US Marines is Semper Fi, translated from Latin, t means always faithful and that is what they always achieve to do. The recruits are selected from the other five, namely the Army, US Navy, US Air Force and the US Coast Guard. Helping the armed forces are the Reserves, who deliver an equally important role in controlling aggression both within and outside the country.

Reserve officers are drawn from the ROTC; the ROTC programs for the Reserves are present all over the country in many universities and colleges. The US Coast Guard protects the country’s coast, harbors, boats and the Great lakes, as is responsible for curbing the drug trafficking business especially from across the borders.

The US Air Force has training programs and education programs for all its officers. They are provided special training for being the best in the world. The US Air Force pilots are trained warriors of the sky but only 4% of the US Air Force is a pilot. The other careers are Specialty careers such as medical and legal, Non-technical careers which include administrators and managers, Technical careers such as engineers and master scientists.

Long after they have served in active duty, US Marines retain their sense of pride and spirit and that is why there are no Ex Marines only former US Marines.
